Last-Minute Notes Before Your First Telepathic Communication
Before we begin, there are a few last-minute concepts that are essential to understand. Let’s cover them now.
The Physical vs Spiritual Person
One of the challenges people experience with telepathy is not realizing the importance and difference between the physical person and the spiritual person. When most people attempt to communicate with someone telepathically, they think of the physical body of their target. They think of what the person looks like, maybe their hair, eye and face, or what they dress like. They are telepathically reaching out to the physical body which can only respond physically. You might as well attempt to speak with a corpse since the body without the spirit is dead.
Demonstration:
Let’s do a demonstration to show you what I mean.
- Place a small object (like a pen or pencil) on the table in front of you.
- Now, with your mind, try to move the pencil just by focusing on it. Give it everything you’ve got to make that pencil move.
- As you do this, pay very close attention to what you’re actually doing — mentally and energetically.
- Notice how much strain, effort, or willpower you may be exerting — and yet, the pencil doesn’t move.
Why? Because you’re directing all your focus toward the physical object, which cannot be moved this way.
Now try this:
- Hold your hand up, palm facing you, with your fingers extended, but relaxed.
- Now, attempt to move your fingers using the same technique and process you used when trying to move the pencil with your mind.
What do you notice? No matter how much mental strain and effort you exert, your fingers do not move. Why? Because you’re applying mental effort to a physical form, even though its your own hand and fingers, you cannot move them with that process. If you cannot move your own hand and fingers with that process, how could you hope to move the pencil with that process?
In the same way, if you attempt telepathy with the wrong process, (focusing on the physical body of your target), you will never succeed.
🌀 The Core of Telepathy: Spirit-to-Spirit Communication
Telepathy is not body-to-body communication.
Telepathy is not spirit-to-body communication.
Telepathy is spirit-to-spirit communication.
Because telepathy is spirit-to-spirit communication, no matter how hard you try to connect to their physical body, you will fail because the body without the spirit is a corpse. Telepathy requires you to connect to a person’s spirit, energy or essence. Their true self.
Spiritually speaking, no body looks like their body. This is true of everyone, but especially true of people who have sever handicaps, amputations and other deformities. The physical body is scared, deformed and changed so that it is only a shadow of the spiritual. The spirit body is perfect, flawless, whole and beautiful. It does not present the same as our physical body.
To connect with someone’s spirit, you need to think of moments in which they are truely themselves. You are looking for their personality, independent of their physical body. Unique moments in which their personality shines through. Often times, we can see these moments when they are excited, laughing or lite up. We see them in their hobbies and interests.
One of the easiest ways to do this is to encapsulate their energy in an emotion, an experience, a quirk, or something that you’re familiar with that exemplifies their personality or energy. Think of what it feels like to be in their presence, what they feel like. This is their spirit or true essence. This is who you focus on communicating with. You hold this feeling and thought in your mind and heart as you reach out to that person.
This is true whether you are attempting to telepathically communicate with a living person, a dead person, an animal, a plant, or anything else. If you focus on the spiritual person, you will make the connection.
The Spirit is Willing, but the Flesh is Weak (Matt. 26:41)
The physical body, (the Flesh), is loud and demanding. The spirit is subtle and quiet. When your physical body is in distress, it demands your focus and attention so that it is very difficult to receive input from your spirit body. For example, if you were meditating and I hit your finger with a hammer you would struggle to remain in a spiritually connected or grounded state. The greater the demands and focus of the body, the harder it is to be aware of your spiritual input. This bring us to a few things we need to understand in our journey to master telepathy:
- When we are consciously focused on something, (like pain, exhaustion, cooking, cleaning, watching TV or working on some task), our attention is on what we are doing and not on the input we are receiving. This is often true of physical communication as well as spiritual communication. If I am engaged in writing or watching a movie and my wife or children start talking to me, I might be so focused that I don’t even hear them even though they are verbally communicating with me. This is even more so the case when we are attempting to communicate with someone telepathically. If they are not paying attention or distracted by some other focus or interruption, they will not likely respond to our attempt to telepathically communicate with them. This is exaggerated much more if they are new to telepathic communication because they don’t know what they are listening for and dealing with the distractions of their physical body.
- Because of the focus and demands of the physical body, it is much easier to learn to telepathically communicate with spirits, (like the deceased), and people who are less aware of their physical bodies as described by many autistic non-speakers in the TTT. These people have little or no physical distraction to dead with making it significantly easier to be aware of and respond to requests for spiritual communication.
- If you have a non-speaker in your life, we will establish telepathic communication with them both for the purpose of communicating with them, and for the purpose of learning to experience and master telepathy.
- If you do not have a non-speaker in your life, we will pair you with an expert Telepathic Trainer to work with for the purpose of experiencing and mastering telepathic communication.
- Once you have sufficiently experienced telepathic communication with an expert, (Non-speaker and/or Telepathic Trainer), you will be ready to connect with a verbal partner who like yourself has learned to communicate telepathically. We recommend a verbal friend or family member with whom you can compare notes. This will allow you both to experience two-way telepathy and validate the communication with verifiable experiments, (like sending and receiving information and verbally communicating what was sent and received for validation).
- We suggest that these sessions be scheduled and intentional to begin with so that your telepathy partner is not otherwise engaged doing something that prevents them from receiving your telepathic request. We will walk you through the optimal process later in Module 2 of this training.
- Before you attempt a spiritual session, ensure all your physical needs are met. This will allow you to focus freely on the subtle input through your spirit body.
- As a spiritual practice there are things that we can do to learn to hear and receive input from our spirit bodies while our physical body is engaged or in distress. One example is fasting. When we fast, our physical body lets us know that its needs are not being met. If we intentionally fast with the goal of connecting with our spirit body, we can learn to be aware of spiritual input even when our body is crying for its needs to be met.
- That being said, if you are new to spiritual practices like telepathy, it is better to not fight against your physical body, rather work with it. This means that you will have higher success if your physical needs are taken care of first. Make sure you are well rested, fed, watered and have gone to the bathroom. I have discovered that people often connect well to the spiritual after an intense workout or yoga session. Their body is spent and relaxed allowing their spirit to take center stage.
Analytical Overlay (AOL)
Analytical Overlay (AOL) is something we deal with in all forms of spiritual experiences. It happens when your conscious mind interjects its thoughts or expectations into the experience, inventing or making it up. For example, if you are struggling to hear a true telepathic response, your mind might make up a response for you. The result is that you are filling in both sides of the conversation or in other words, talking to yourself.
Key Characteristics of AOL in Telepathy:
- Guessing what the other person is thinking instead of sensing or receiving it.
- Filling in gaps with logic, memory, or imagination.
- Projecting your own emotions or desires onto the message.
- Prematurely labeling a vague or partial impression as something specific.
- Mentally analyzing while receiving, which disrupts the intuitive channel.
You need to be aware of this as it will create false results. Lesson 5 and its handouts are designed to teach you what you need to know to recognize and deal with analytical overlay. Here’s how:
- Know the sound of your own voice in your head – The better you know your own voice, the easier it is to recognize when you are filling in both sides of the conversation.
- Recognizing the Communication Process:
- Speaking vs. Listening Mode – When you are in listening or observing mode, you cannot experience analytical overlay. Analytical overlay can only happen when you are creating or generating the thoughts or experience. It’s ok to generate when you are sending your thoughts, feelings and experiences, but when you are receiving a telepathic communication, you must be listening or observing without knowing what is coming.
- Effort Generating or Interpreting a Thought – Recognizing where you are putting your effort is essential in determining if you’re fabricating the experience. It’s expected that you will put in effort generating thoughts when you are sending or communicating your thoughts and questions. But, when you are receiving a thought, it comes to you without your effort. It just pops into your head effortlessly. When this happens, your effort is focused on understanding and interpreting the thought AFTER you received it.
- Sometimes, there is a pause in communication while the other person is formulating their own thought or how to express their thought. This is expected. Many novices attempt to fill in the gaps with their own thoughts rather than offer their communication partner time to form and express their thoughts. If you feel that you are waiting for a response longer than is reasonable, you might ask your telepathy partner what’s going on? Perhaps they were distracted or they are forming their thoughts.
- Do not presume that you are doing something wrong by listening for a response. For many people, listening with an open mind is the hardest part of telepathic communicating. When in doubt, ask, “Are you still there?” and listen for a response. If they are not there, they may be engaged in some other activity or not paying attention.
- Observation – The key to avoiding analytical overlay. When you are observing, you are not creating. Learn to observe by realizing that you do not know how the conversation will unfold. Play an active role as both the participant, but also the observer.
- Recognize and Apologize for Interjecting – Imagine you were talking with someone and rather than listening to them, you started speaking for them, having a conversation with yourself on their behalf. Its rather rude. With your Non-speaker, Telepathy Trainer and especially with less skilled telepathy partners attempting to learn, it is important to let them know that you weren’t listening. If it happens repeatedly, you may want to politely end the session and try again later when you are more rested and patient.
This completes everything you need to know to experience telepathy for yourself. There is nothing else you need to learn than what has already been covered. It’s time to experience it for yourself. The best way to experience telepathy is with someone who already knows how to do it.
In the next lesson, you will be told how to prepare for your Telepathy Training Meditation session. In this session, I will walk you through several processes and exercizes to put you in the most effective brain wave state for telepathy and assist you with telepathically connecting with either your non-speaker or one of our expert Telepathy Trainers.
