If you listen carefully in The Telepathy Tapes (TTT), you will hear them say things like, “I can talk to any living thing including… rocks”. I think few hear that because it doesn’t make sense, but it’s true. In Paulo Coelho’s novel “The Alchemist,” the main character Santiago learns the “language of the world” which refers to a universal, intuitive language that transcends spoken words, allowing individuals to communicate with the world around them including people, plants, animals and even things we don’t tend to think have intelligence like the desert, wind, the sun. He also communicated with the Soul of the World which is God. Though it doesn’t use the word “telepathy” in the book, “the language of the world” is clearly telepathy and as I was reading the book I recognized and understood that from my own experiences.
In TTT, we hear interviews with animal communicators. These people talk to animals to understand their needs and experiences, but also to negotiate solutions that work for both the animals and their caretakers. Just as people can use telepathy to communicate with animals to discuss and even negotiate with them for change, we can communicate with nature in all forms. With that background, I’ll share one on my wife and I’s experiences that relates to examples from the book, “The Alchemist” as well as other books like the Bible. This was not our first experience like this and so we were really confident in our abilities at this point.
My wife, daughter and I were driving between Las Vegas and California. It was a cloudy day and raining everywhere the eye could see. It began to rain so hard that it looked like we were in a car wash. We and everyone else had to pull over to the side of the road and park. My wife and I discussed our situation, realizing we could be stopped for a long time. We decided to use our telepathy to ask the rain if it would stop for us so we could continue to drive.
We reached out telepathically, (using the Language of the World), and talked to the rain. We explained that we couldn’t drive and then asked if it wouldn’t mind, could it stop raining. It responded to us saying, “It hasn’t rained for a long time. The desert is parched and dry and the plants and animals that live here needed the rain.” So, it turned our request down and we couldn’t argue with the needs of the desert that the rain was meeting. (Nature is largely symbiotic and works together using the same or similar telepathic communication you are exploring. Animals can not only talk to each other, but also to the various forces of nature. Through this means they know when a storm is coming or if it will be a short rain or a long rain, etc. Animals know things because they are non-verbal and tuned in via telepathy. Because they are already telepathic, it is easy for telepaths to communicate with them.)
So, rather than give up, we asked if the road needed the rain. We were told “no, the road doesn’t need the rain.” So, we asked if the rain could stop on the road so that we could drive safely and the rain could still be given to the plants and animals of the desert. After a moment of consideration, the rain agreed.
About a minute or two later, (it was surprisingly quick, maybe less than a minute to respond), the rain directly above us began to stop and the clouds immediately above us opened up to reveal blue sky. We were able to quickly start driving again.
What was really cool about this experience is that the blue patch above us began to stretch forward, opening a long straight line of blue sky between two large thick sections of rain clouds, one on the right, and one on the left, as if some great force was unzipping the clouds above the road. About 15-30 feet, (depending on where you are measuring), on both sides of the Highway it was raining hard just like it had been on our car, but on the highway the rain stopped. It took about 30 minutes for the zipper in the cloud to open along the highway to beyond the horizon, and we were not rained on again after that point.

Very cool! Thanks for sharing! I have questions that may or may not make sense
Did/do you get a sense that the rain had its own individual soul? Or personality? And was it those raindrops you were communicating with or, like, Rain in general? Or was it more that we’re all part of the same consciousness of the universe so you could bend what happens in it? Or something else?!
hmmm, good questions. How deep do you want to go, lol.
I’ve thought about these questions before. I can tell you my experience and how I understand it, but I am often learning some new thing that changes what I thought I knew before, so I reserve the right to change my mind, lol. I don’t like dogma and I don’t want to sound like only my way or thoughts are correct and work. I know and have used several ways or tools to do similar things and I hope to learn more.
That being said, knowing how it works is not required for it to work and my current understanding is good enough to see some amazing, like really mind blowing things. and agreeing with me or my viewpoints is not required either. My 2025 self disagrees with my 2024 self and it seems to happen that way as long as I have lived, and yet I have at least 34 year of experience showing that agreeing on how it works doesn’t matter. What does matter is about a handful of things like a specific type of love. If you don’t love what you’re talking to then I’m not sure you can even communicate with it, but I know it has no motivation to do anything for you. (But that’s off topic.)
So, you are alive with a governing intelligence, consciousness or awareness that we call Victoria. The “You” inside you doesn’t exist in your foot or your chest. I might say point to yourself, and you might point to your chest, but that isn’t where you exist in your body. If I pointed at your arm, and asked is this where you are? You would say, No. If I asked, “Are you higher or lower, left or right of this?” Eventually, we could pinpoint exactly where “You” are, which can actually be different for different people. We call it your seat of consciousness. When I’m talking to you, that’s who I’m talking to, the you that sits in your seat of consciousness. And you have control over your entire body.
In that experience, I was talking to the rain, or the intelligence sitting in the seat of consciousness over the rain that was raining on us. Not the rain in Spain or some other area, nor the sky, nor the weather. I didn’t speak to the individual raindrops, though I could have, but that would be like talking to your hand and asking your hand to do something, or talking to the cells in your hand and asking them to catch a ball. The rain, and everything, has a seat of consciousness that governs the smaller organizations of consciousness’ or intelligences in the same way you govern your hands, feet, heart and cells in your body. Your heart is alive independent of you and your life such that I could put it in someone else or even in a container and as long as it has food, and waste removal they will stay alive and beating, (Source: Dr. Alexis Carrel, 30 year chicken heart experiment). Same with cells in a petri dish. They are independently alive but in a symbiotic relationship with us. They have independent consciousness which can be communicated with.
I can talk to your heart or a cell or group of cells in your heart and they all are conscious individually but are also part of groups or collective consciousness’. The universe generally means all that exists and encompasses all other groups. That ultimate consciousness is what many call Source or God. I have talked with this consciousness and even had an incredible spontaneous vision answering the question, “What is God”.
You asked, “Did/do you get a sense that the rain had its own individual soul? Or personality?”
If “individual soul or personality” means the seat of consciousness or the collective consciousness which knows and expresses the thoughts, desires and will of the group, then yes.
You asked, “And was it those raindrops you were communicating with or, like, Rain in general?”
I spoke to the rain or collective consciousness which knows and expresses the thoughts, desires and will of the group which had one voice, not millions of voices like the rain drop. I could also have communicated with Source/God for this, like many do, but in a previous experience, God instructed us to communicate directly with the thing we wanted to influence, (the rain).
You asked, “Or was it more that we’re all part of the same consciousness of the universe so you could bend what happens in it?”
I have found this to be true too, as explained above. But, I cannot “bend what happens in it”. In our society, we use force, manipulation, fear inducing threats, to “bend” people and nature to our wills. There is no threat or force I could apply to the rain to bend its will to do my wishes. And, I wouldn’t want to. I love the rain and the desert and everything in it. I wouldn’t put my desire to drive above its needs for life. The only motivation it has to honor my REQUEST is my love for it. Love is the motivator. When you love people, animals, things, they feel it and respond. But that love cannot be selfish or it isn’t love. And sometimes the answer is no and you can’t find a solution. We see that in TTT with the animal communicator. She does her best, but sometimes negotiations fail.
When you are talking to a group of people, you address the group as if they were one person. But when you want to speak to a subset of that group you define some criteria that separates who you want to talk to from those you don’t want to talk to. (People with blond hair for example.) It’s the same way with nature, and telepathy. You decide with your intention and reach out to that thing or group. For example, you can speak to the dog, and when you do, it’s a specific dog, not all dogs because that was your intention. I can speak to the earth or to the mountain or to the cliff or to the rock on the cliff all the way down to an atom or an electron. But it’s based on intention.
